Snow Ice Cream
As promised...
If you have more snow than you know what to do with, here is a kid-friendly recipe for Snow Ice Cream.
Snow Ice Cream
Serves 4
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup confectioners sugar
2 teaspooons vanilla
4 cups of clean, fresh snow
Whip the first three ingredients together until soft peaks form. Place the snow in a large bowl and fold in the cream mixture gently. (If you're like me, this is the place where you add chocolate syrup.) Eat or freeze until firm.
There's another version to try here.
We usually don't get a good snow in Baltimore until February, so enjoy your white Christmas/Hanukkah/Solstice!

Hi, Laura. I've awarded you a "Butterfly" for having a really cool blog, which I always enjoy checking out on Poetry Friday.
Here's the scoop at Ink for Lit.
Have a great day!
