Found! On a student center bulletin board. McDaniel College, July, 2009. Here's a poem I'm calling "Littleblack Cat":
The layout and fonts were the first thing to catch my eye on this bulletin board post. Then the catchy rhythm of "little black/cat." And the details! Wow.
But what I love most -- I guess what makes
any found poem -- is what's unsaid.
Have a happy Poetry Friday, everyone. You'll find more poetic treasures at the
Boy Reader.

Aw, this is sweet. I love the lowercase type -- and the fact that REWARD stands out :).
Cute, right? My favorite line is "no teeth."
I love how it is laid out with the different sized fonts. Very creative! I hope the little black cat was found.
Barbara -- I agree. The ragged left justification gives it shape & somehow adds to the emotion. You have to hope that little toothless kitty survived!
No teeth :-(
I hope they found their cat. We just got our little black cat last week and I've posted about her in my Poetry Friday post!
Marjorie -- I'll have to check out your post. So glad you got your little kitty back. We lost one several years ago and my son's still hurting over it.
Sweet! Sure hope they got their kitty back--fingers crossed!
